Inspired by the wildlife at Caprock Canyons, a Texas State Park which is home to the official Texas State Bison Herd. These wonderful creatures are the last remaining Southern Plains Bison in existence and you have a good chance of seeing them when you visit the park. In fact, they greeted me at the gate!
