This strange landscape is based on a photograph I took while hiking the Peek-A-Boo Loop Trail in Bryce Canyon. It’s a place unlike any other I’ve been: tall ponderosa pine trees loom over as you descend into a land of strange rock formations, carved by erosion over an eternity. Everything is illuminated with the pink-orange light that reflects off the crimson cliffs. Winding trails lead you down and back up onto the plateau, where the views are magnificent. It might be my favorite National Park so far!
